U.S. and Canada's Government
Some similarities of both Canada and the United States are...
- They are both democrocies and are federal unions.
- They both have one big Capital and many other smaller ones.
- Both Countries are split up into smaller pieces which are Provinces for Canada, and States for the U.S.
- Independance day is around the beginning of July.
- In both of thier constitutions they have freedom rights and procedures for constitional amendments.
- Both legal systems are mainly based on English common law.
- To be able to vote you need to be 18 years of age.
- Even both have someone important in charge, like the Prime Minister for Canada, and the President for the U.S.
